One of the questions I'm often asked is, "How did you get into frequency therapy?"

The honest answer is that it was something I naturally resonated with.

After nearly 30 years working in health and wellness, I found myself continually asking a deeper question. Exercise, nutrition, sleep, mindset, and lifestyle all play an important role in our wellbeing, but I was always drawn to understanding the layers of the human body and getting to the core issues playing out.

How does the body communicate?

Looking back, I can see that frequency therapy felt like a natural evolution of my own journey. Years ago, I studied homeopathy because of its gentle philosophy and the idea of supporting the body's innate ability to restore balance. As I learnt more about frequency, vibration and energy, something simply clicked. It wasn't just another modality to add to my toolkit. It felt like another way of understanding the remarkable intelligence of the human body.

What I love most about working with frequencies is their simplicity and purity. Rather than trying to force the body to change, I see frequency as a way for the body to communicate with us, sending vibrational information which allows us to respond with selected frequencies which then allow the body to respond in its own time. 

For well over a century, curious minds have been exploring the relationship between electricity, vibration, resonance and health. They came from different backgrounds, held different theories and often reached different conclusions, yet they all shared one thing in common - they believed there was more to the human body than chemistry alone.

In the late 1800s and early 1900s, Nikola Tesla transformed our understanding of electricity, resonance and high-frequency currents. His groundbreaking work laid the foundations for generations of engineers, inventors and researchers, many of whom would later explore the relationship between frequency and living systems.

Building on that era of discovery, Georges Lakhovsky developed his ideas during the 1920s. He proposed that living cells behaved like tiny oscillators, constantly vibrating and communicating through electrical activity. To explore this concept, he developed the Multiple Wave Oscillator (MWO), a device that used high-frequency electrical principles, including a Tesla coil, to expose the body to a broad spectrum of electromagnetic frequencies. He believed that healthy cells resonated naturally and that supporting those natural oscillations might support wellbeing. His work encouraged people to think differently about the body's electrical nature and continues to spark interest today.

At around the same time, during the 1920s and 1930s, Royal Raymond Rife explored whether living organisms might respond to specific resonant frequencies. Through his research and the development of high-powered microscopes, he proposed that different microorganisms possessed unique resonant frequencies and developed what became known as Rife frequencies - collections of frequencies associated with different microorganisms and health conditions. His work inspired decades of curiosity and further exploration into how frequency might interact with living systems.

By the 1960s and 1970s, researchers such as Dr Robert O. Becker were helping establish bioelectricity as an important area of scientific investigation. His pioneering research demonstrated that electrical signalling plays a fundamental role in tissue repair, healing and regeneration, providing scientific evidence that the body's electrical systems are integral to health.

More recently, from the 1990s onwards, Dr James Oschman has helped bridge the gap between biology, physics and energy medicine. His work explores how fascia and connective tissue function as part of the body's communication network, contributing to our understanding of how information may be transmitted throughout the body.

Science evolves because people are willing to ask better questions. Each of these pioneers added another piece to the puzzle, helping shape the conversations that continue today as our understanding of bioelectricity, cellular communication, resonance and coherence continues to grow.

Today, modern science recognises the importance of bioelectricity in everything from nerve signalling and heart rhythms to cell membrane potentials, tissue repair and cellular communication. Our understanding has grown enormously, and so has the technology. We now have ways of delivering frequencies through sound, pulsed electromagnetic fields (PEMF), photobiomodulation using specific wavelengths of light, and targeted laser technologies. 

For me, I see myself as standing on the shoulders of these pioneers - learning from the past while embracing modern research, advancing technology and the clinical experience gained from working with people every day.

My focus has never been just the symptom. It's about understanding the story behind it and gently helping the body return to balance.

So instead of asking only, "Where is your pain?", I ask: What is the body trying to communicate? Where has harmony been lost? How can we support its natural movement back towards coherence?

To me, that's what frequency therapy is all about.

It's about working at the level of communication. Supporting the body's cells, tissues, organs and systems with carefully selected frequencies, recognising that every person has a different history, a different level of vitality and a different capacity to respond.

Just as I would never ask a new Personal Training client to run a marathon on their first day, I don't believe in overwhelming the body with frequencies.

Every client is different. Every nervous system is different. Every body has its own story.

That's why my philosophy has always been: Less is More. Go Low and Slow.

We meet people where they are, gently introducing frequencies and allowing time for the body to respond, adapt, and integrate. My goal isn't to overwhelm the body's communication systems but to encourage greater harmony and coherence over time.

Coherence is something we see throughout nature. It's what happens when complex systems begin working together in harmony. When communication improves between our cells, tissues, organs and nervous system, we often experience greater ease, clarity, adaptability and resilience.

This idea of supporting coherence sits at the heart of everything I do.

As technology continues to evolve, so does my own work. I'm continually learning, researching and exploring how modern frequency technologies - including targeted frequency delivery systems - may help support the body's remarkable communication networks and natural ability to restore balance.

Today's researchers continue to expand our understanding of bioelectricity, neuroscience and cellular communication.

And I feel incredibly privileged to continue learning, exploring and building on that knowledge in my own work.

The question that continues to inspire me is a simple one: How can we better support the body's natural movement towards coherence through frequency, vibration and energy?

For me, frequency therapy has never been about a machine, a modality or chasing symptoms.

It's about understanding the language of the body. Helping people move from stress towards harmony. From survival towards vitality. From disharmony towards coherence.

Because my vision has always been bigger than frequency therapy alone.

It's about helping people become more Conscious, create greater Coherence within their bodies and lives, and experience deeper Connection with themselves, with others and with the world around them.
